Responsibilities:

Web Systems Engineer

• Development of custom website and web-based applications using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, and other related technologies
• Assist in designing MYSQL databases to run developed websites and web-based applications
• Developing specifications and integrating custom applications within our proprietary software
• Collaborate with other web development team members to meet project deadlines.

Technical Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years experience developing PHP applications
• Minimum of 4 years experience designing and working with MySQL Database.
• Minimum of 4 years experience developing dynamic websites that utilize user based system administration.
• Must be able to provide demo sites completed with PHP/MySQL including samples of relevant source code.
• Able to work with AJAX, Javascript, Prototype, JQuery, CSS, XHTML
• Additional helpful knowledge: basic Linux, Apache, Java, XML, SVN, RSS, CMS systems, E-Commerce, OOP, MVC architecture

Web Projects Manager

As the Web Projects Manager you are responsible for successfully supervising the development and implementation of client website projects.

Web Support Technician

The ideal candidate must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and\or projects with minimal supervision, a positive attitude, detail oriented, and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

·         Provide support to end users using a variety of third party and in-house application

·         Provide a high level of customer satisfaction and communicate with customers on all technical levels

·         Configure, install, test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain systems related to hardware and software

·         Identify, research, and resolve technical problems

·         Respond to incoming calls, emails and requests for support

·         Thoroughly document issues, procedures, and monitor open requests to ensure a timely and quality resolution

·         Rely on experience and ability to plan and accomplish goals

Qualifications:

·         Associate's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience or technical school graduate

·         Minimum 2 years Help Desk and/or phone support with web based applications, email systems and website content management systems 

·         Must be highly motivated and self-managed

·         Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify the root cause of an issue through independent research

·         Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work with customers and team members of all levels

·         On call services and shift work will be required

Senior Network Engineer

TechXpress' rapidly growing IT Managed Services division is in need of a highly qualified Senior Network Engineer to join its team.

The Network Engineer's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of client end-user network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.

Responsibilities:

·         Conduct diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve computer and network related problems.

·         Perform scheduled onsite comprehensive network checkups to ensure the network is secure and optimized at all times.

·         Install and perform necessary repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment

·         Setup equipment for end user, ensuring proper installation of all materials.

·         Modify, optimize and customize settings and programs to meet customer's needs.

·         Consult with clients to establish requirements for new network systems or modifications.

·         Examine performance of existing network technology and make appropriate recommendations for maintenance, upgrades or replacement based on established goals with client.

·         Provide training support to users for specific hardware, software, peripherals and other related equipment as necessary.

Qualifications:

·         Minimum of seven (7) years experience providing on-site computer network support and/or internal network admin support.

·         Qualified and proficient in all MS Windows Client & Server version environments (95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP/2K3), MS Exchange Server, and all MS office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).

·         Experienced with small business LAN & VPN setup, network security administration, systems integration, server-based anti-virus setup, firewall setup, exchange peripheral interfacing, building, maintaining, upgrading computer hardware including servers, and interfacing with proprietary software support vendors

·         Preferred Certifications: MCSE, CCMP, A+

·         Experience with Linux a plus.
