Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Conduct remote and onsite diagnostics to troubleshoot computer and network related problems. 

·         Able to work as part of a team or independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

·         Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.

·         Set up equipment and ensure proper installation of all materials.

·         Modify, optimize and customize settings and programs to meet end user needs.

·         Consult with users to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.

·         Examine performance of existing technology and if necessary make appropriate recommendations for maintenance, upgrades, or replacement.

·         Provide training support to users for specific hardware, software, peripherals and other related equipment as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         5+ years professional experience providing computer network support in which 2+ years involved Microsoft Server administration.

·         Qualified and proficient in current Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 environments and Microsoft Office applications.

·         Experienced with LAN & VPN setup, network security administration, virus removal and protection, and configuration of firewalls, routers, printers, scanners, and other related network devices.

·         2 certifications required from list: MCP, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, CCNA, CCNP, CEH, ITIL.

·         Additional Preferred Certifications: A+, Network+ 

·         Experienced with Back Up and Disaster Recovery Best Practices.

·         Strong passion for staying up to date with current IT standards and technologies.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Strong analytical skills with the ability to efficiently identify the root cause of an issue and resolve.

·         Must be able to work well on a team and be a self-starter,

·        Must have a clean driving record, and able to pass a background check and DOJ fingerprinting.

E-Commerce Web Designer

Demonstrate your abilities to provide cutting edge e-commerce design in a small dynamic team environment, all while living on the Central Coast!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Collaborate with other team members in researching effective user interface strategies for various client e-commerce niches.

·         Create pre-design wire frame layouts based on the results of our team’s research.

·         Create home page and sub page design compositions from approved wire frames.

·         Slice up approved design files and produce the initial site with HTML, CSS, and some basic PHP.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of professional Web design experience, preferably focused in e-commerce site development.
• Strong understanding of current Web design and usability trends relating to e-commerce.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, CSS
• Flash and PHP skills a plus

• Meticulous work ethic.
• Associates degree (or equivalent) in graphic design related field preferred.
