PIONEERS NEW CONCEPT IN TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Pre-Paid
Technical Phone Support Cards are the first of their kind on the
Central Coast
San
Luis Obispo, CA Striving to remedy the everyday annoyances,
glitches and questions that most computer-users face, San Luis Obispo-based
company, TechXpress introduces their new XPRESS Prepaid Technical
Phone Support Card. The card is the first of its kind on the Central
Coast.
The
idea for the XPRESS Prepaid Technical Phone Support Card came to
TechXpress President Bryan Sarlitt when he realized that many of
his customers were requesting service calls for minor problems that
could be resolved with a brief phone consultation. "The program
is designed to save you time and money. Often we can resolve problems
quickly, and for a very small fee," says Sarlitt. "At
the very least, we can make absolutely sure you need a service call
before you request one."
The
XPRESS Prepaid Technical Phone Support Cards come in 30, 60, 120
and 240 minute increments and can be added to at any time, just
as you would with a phone card. Callers use a toll-free number to
contact a certified technician, who can assist with both hardware
and software issues. Service is currently available Monday through
Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. TechXpress hopes to eventually
offer 24 hour access.
Cardholders
will also have access to a special section on the TechXpress website
that offers Frequently Asked Questions and troubleshooting tips
that may help customers fix computer problems without professional
help.
TechXpress
plans to offer its XPRESS Prepaid Technical Phone Support Card to
both businesses and individuals. Bryan Sarlitt notes that businesses
in particular will find it useful to maximize office productivity.
"If every employee had a XPRESS Prepaid Technical Phone Support
Card in their Rolodex, they could resolve almost any technical issue
on the spot from questions about error messages, to computer
viruses
even problems with the spreadsheet theyre working
on," says Sarlitt. "Theres no wasting time waiting
on hold with the manufacturer or poring over confusing, complicated
manuals. We get your employees back on the job as quickly as possible."
For individuals, Sarlitt suggests that the cards make a useful and
unique gift for graduates, seniors, self-employed individuals, or
anyone who has ever had a frustrating moment at their computer.
