TechXpress Seeks Sponsors for Computers for Kids Project
San Luis Obispo – San Luis Obispo-based computer and Internet solutions firm, TechXpress is seeking sponsors for the charitable program, Computers for Kids. TechXpress, San Luis Obispo County YMCA, and other community partners will be teaming up to refurbish used computers that will be donated to deserving, low-income children in the area.
"For a disadvantaged child, having a computer can be the stepping stone that enables them to succeed both in school and in life," says TechXpress President Bryan Sarlitt. "Our goal is to present at least 100 local children with a computer next school year, and we hope the community will help us to attain that goal."
Both cash and in-kind sponsorships are needed to make the Computers for Kids program a success. Sponsors will be recognized in a variety of media including television advertising, print, and posters.
