| Computers 4 Kids Fundraiser set for November 12th at Madonna Inn
San Luis Obispo, CA -- The organizers of the Computers 4 Kids program are currently selling tickets and seeking sponsors for their upcoming fundraiser, The First Annual Black and White Ball. This premier black-tie gala will include dazzling entertainment, dancing, wine & lifestyle auctions and a gourmet dinner. It will be held Friday, November 12, 2004 at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo.
“We hope the community will support this event which will allow us to serve significantly more underprivileged children during this year’s Computers 4 Kids program,” said Bryan Sarlitt, President/CEO of TechXpress, which is the coordinator of both Computers 4 Kids and the Black and White Ball. “Last year, we provided refurbished computers to nearly 100 kids in the San Luis Obispo area. We hope to more than double that number and extend our reach as far as Santa Maria and the North County.”
Entertainment for the Black and White Ball will include:
- Sugar Daddy Swing Kings
- Rich Fergueson, Master Magician
- Pizazz Jazz Dancers from the Academy of Dance
- Sean Dassman of AMS Mobile Sound as Master of Ceremonies.
The event schedule will be as follows:
- 6:30 p.m. -- Hors D’Oeuvres and Silent Auction Opening
- 8:00 p.m. -- Formal Dinner & Live Auction
- 9:00 p.m. -- Dancing
Seating is available at $75 for Individual Benefactors. A Benefactor Table may be purchased for $500 which a preferred table of eight for dinner and dancing, as well as business recognition in the event program, online and at the event.
Sponsorship packages are also available for businesses who desire added recognition and the opportunity to assist underprivileged children in our community,
