TechXpress Donates Website to Austyn Bence Medical Benefit Fund

San Luis Obispo, CA -- Local information technology services firm, TechXpress, Inc., recently donated the design of a new website, www.savebabyaustyn.com, to raise funds to defray the medical expenses of Austyn Bence, a San Luis Obispo infant who is suffering from the rare genetic bone disorder, malignant infantile onset osteoporosis (MIOP). The donation is valued at $3,650.

“At TechXpress we feel it’s important to give back in ways that enhance the quality of life within the community that supports us,” said TechXpress Founder/CEO Bryan Sarlitt. “ It’s often difficult to choose among the many worthwhile local causes. In Austyn’s case, when his family brought their urgent need to my attention, I immediately knew it was the right thing to do.”

Funds raised will offset the enormous medical expenses accrued by the Bence family to treat Austyn’s potentially fatal condition. The website also allows friends and contacts to remain updated about his condition, and express their support to the family. The infant has already undergone five brain surgeries and is awaiting a bone marrow transplant.

“The website continues to be a source of inspiration and hope for our family.  We feel uniquely indebted to Bryan and his team,” said Austyn’s father, Kevin Bence.
