As part of their rental agreement, the SBDC will now be able to take advantage of TechXpress’ Training Center facilities which include two full-time classrooms and "state-of-the-art" computers and software. The SBDC will also utilize the TechXpress facilities for their counseling services and workshops.

SBDC instructors are offering a new QuickBooks class aimed at small business owners. (TechXpress and Barbich Longcrier Hooper & King will continue to offer their QuickBooks class aimed at accountants.)

As part of the new partnership, TechXpress has become an SBDC sponsor, providing website hosting and computer tech support services to the organization.

The Cuesta College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is part of a nationwide program that provides free technical assistance to potential or ongoing small businesses with 500 employees or less. The SBDC is locally hosted by Cuesta College and regionally hosted by the University of California, Merced in partnership with the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
