EVC announces new partnership with TechXpress
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – TechXpress, Inc. has announced a partnership with the Economic Vitality Corporation (EVC) to establish a Software Training Scholarship Program for local middle school and high school students. The program will be in conjunction with local public schools, which will evaluate students on merit of grades, effort and financial need. Approximately fifty students per year will have free access to classes at the TechXpress Training Center. The value of the donation is estimated to be $100,000 per year. Also, through this partnership, the TechXpress Training Center will offer a discount to EVC sponsors and clients on all software training courses and services. . This makes TechXpress a Gold Level sponsor of the EVC.
“We are excited to become an EVC sponsor because we have a common goal– to help local businesses succeed and improve the quality of life for many on the central coast” said TechXpress CEO/Founder, Bryan Sarlitt.
“The sponsorship agreement with TechXpress not only gives our sponsors and clients the opportunity to improve their computer skills at a discount but it also allows us to work together to help young people enhance their computer skills through this new scholarship program,” said Michael Manchak, President and CEO of the EVC.
The computer training courses are available at the TechXpress Training Center located at 3450 Broad Street, Suite 101, in San Luis Obispo. Courses include training on Windows Vista, QuickBooks, Microsoft suite of programs, Adobe Photoshop, and more.
