TechXpress’ Bryan Sarlitt Named
One of SLO County’s Top 20 Under 40
San Luis Obispo – Bryan Sarlitt, Founder/CEO of TechXpress, Inc., has been honored as one of The Tribune newspaper’s “20 Under 40” award recipients.
Honorees were chosen by a panel of six judges from the Economic Vitality Corp. of San Luis Obispo County, from amongst 91 nominations received online in late 2007. According to The Tribune’s website, www.sanluisobispo.com, “The honor recognizes San Luis Obispo County's best and brightest young professionals.” Nominees were evaluated “based on professional excellence in their field and a strong commitment to community service.”
All honorees are younger than 40 and live and work in San Luis Obispo County year-round. Nominations were taken from the community and The Tribune staff selected the award recipients.
“This recognition is extremely gratifying, but I have to share the honor with my outstanding techs, managers, sales team and support staff. They’re the reason TechXpress has grown and thrived,” said Sarlitt.
This is the second major award in recent months for Sarlitt, who founded TechXpress in 1999 at the age of 20. In 2007, he was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Small Business Administration. This was a multi-state award for the region that includes California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and Guam.
