The Microsoft Certifications distinguish computer industry professionals for demonstrated in-depth knowledge and expertise in specialized technologies.  Individuals awarded the Microsoft designations are capable of implementing, building, troubleshooting and debugging specific Microsoft technologies.

According to the Technology Development Center in Ventura, the testing institute that issued the credentials, Mapalo is the first individual on the Central Coast to complete testing and receive approval on these certificates in 2008.
