A key component of Cal Poly Athletics commitment to achieving athletic and academic excellence is an unrelenting focus on developing athletic facilities that are state of the art and provide compelling environments for athletes and fans. As a consequence, during the past decade, new venues for baseball, softball and tennis have been constructed while phased enhancements to Alex G. Spanos Stadium (formerly Mustang Stadium), Mott Gymnasium, the Anderson Aquatic Center and the Cal Poly track are ongoing.

The crown jewel of the Cal Poly Athletics venues, the Sport Complex is a 40-acre facility comprised of Baggett Stadium for baseball, Bob Janssen Field for softball as well as seven competition and practices fields for soccer and football. The surrounding competition fields are also used for mens and womens club lacrosse, rugby and intramural team sports.
