TechXpress has an immediate opening for a Business Development professional to work within the plentiful and fast growing IT managed services industry.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting – identify and qualify prospective clients by following up on company generated leads and client referrals, attending networking events/tradeshows/conferences, warm calling, and leveraging personal contacts.
  • Partnering – develop referrals by building relationships with partner network of other companies complementary to ours.
  • Presenting – lead needs assessment meetings with prospective clients, and prepare and present proposed solutions.
  • Following-up – maintain effective communication with prospective clients throughout sales cycle.
  • Reporting – maintain all sales activity, communications, and opportunity tracking using our CRM (customer relationship management) software system. 
  • Goals – meet or exceed personal sales targets, set per quarter.

Position Qualifications:

  • 2+ years consultative sales experience with verifiable track record of success.
  • 1+ year experience selling technology related products/services.
  • Exemplifies a positive results-oriented attitude.
  • Polished phone and face-to-face communication skills.
  • Refined written communication skills for proposals, cover letters, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Superior work ethic and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and utilizing customer relationship management software to track sales activity, communications, opportunity forecasting, etc.

Position Compensation:

This position offers a first year compensation package of $68,000 - $122,000 depending on experience and performance. Benefits include health insurance; vacation, sick time, and holidays; free health club membership; life and group disability insurance; company equity participation, and more.
