TechXpress, the Central Coast’s Premiere IT Managed Services provider, is currently seeking a long–term, talented, motivated, and personable self-starter for the position of Technology Consultant. In this role the chosen candidate will be responsible for growing the business through outside sales, networking, and lead generation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting – identifying and qualifying prospective clients through cold calling, leveraging personal contacts, and following up on company generated leads.
  • Attending networking events, tradeshows, and conferences to build relationships that lead to new business opportunities.
  • Building trust and value with partners to develop new leads.
  • Preparing proposals and meeting agendas for prospect/client presentations.
  • Maintaining existing client relationships including regular follow up communications via telephone, email, and in-person (coffee, lunch, etc.).
  • Driving sales revenue to meet personal targets set through accurate weekly forecasts.
  • Maintaining sales activity using CRM database.

Position Compensation:

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission structure on one-time and recurring revenue.

Position Qualifications:

  • 1+ year sales experience or internship 
  • Basic technical knowledge a plus
  • Polished communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Own transportation required
