TechXpress is seeking a savvy, customer oriented, entry-level Network Technician to join our growing team. Your primary role is to provide on-site and remote level 1 technical support services to our local business and government clients.

Responsiblities:
-
Perform on-site diagnostic to troubleshoot computer and network related problems.
-
Provide routine onsite preventative maintenance for workstations and servers.
-
Install/configure Windows XP, Vista, 7 workstations including joining to domain.

Perform virus and spyware removal.
-
Install printers and network drives.
-
Repair, service, and prep workstations and servers for deployment.
-
Provide user support for MS Windows and Office productivity applications, e-mail, and other software as assigned.

Research issues to provide appropriate responses to clients and departmental staff.
Qualifications
-
2+ years professional experience providing computer tech support related services, where customer service is the #1 priority.

Strong technical background to provide baseline support for Windows-based workstations, servers, and peripheral devices, as well as MS Office software.

Required to hold an A+, Network+, or other comparable certification.

Professional, customer oriented attitude.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to efficiently identify the root cause of an issue and resolve.

Passion for staying up to date with current IT standards and technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have a clean driving record and background.
